I am available for speaking engagements, and I have several lectures
and workshops already available. Contact us to discuss
availability of dates and current fee schedule. If you are
interested in alternate topics, please contact me to discuss your
needs.
What do I provide?
- Well-researched and prepared lectures or
workshops on your choice of topics, supported by bibliographies, maps, glossaries or
other material appropriate to the lecture or workshop
- An outline and synopsis for each lecture or
workshop to use in
promotional materials
- Camera ready masters for
handouts
or in a syllabus (Masters may not be copied for any purpose
other than making copies for the the attendees or one-time
publication in the syllabus)
- Electronic presentations are in PowerPoint format, workshops
also have material in respective software package
Speaking Arrangements
- Audio-visual equipment required:
- digital projector and a table or stand for
the projector and laptop (I will bring my own laptop)
- use of an
overhead projector can be accommodated for lectures at an extra cost,
but overheads are not available for workshops
- Lectern or similar place to rest lecture notes
- A microphone for large venues
- No audio or video taping allowed
- No home housing accepted
- Will travel
Fees for Speaking Engagements
Contact us for
speaking fees. I charge per lecture plus expenses (mileage, air
fare, hotel, meals.) Travel by car, if required, is charged at
the rate of $0.30 per kilometre (or $0.44 US per mile.)
